The highest-ranking AM album not appearing here is Hotel California.Ģ / The Dark Side Of The Moon / Pink Floyd /đ973ĥ / The Velvet Underground And Nico / Velvet Underground And Nico /đ967ħ / Wish You Were Here / Pink Floyd /đ975Ĩ / Led Zeppelin IV / Led Zeppelin /đ971ġ0 / Sgt. I have not included the AM ranks here, from either the current official or the unofficial list. (Speaking purely hypothetically, of course.) Below is a listing of the top 1500 albums from that combined list just below the 1500 mark is where we start to see albums that only appear on one of the two lists (for the record, the first of these is The Killers' Hot Fuss, #134 on BEA). I combined the two lists using a simple reverse-points system, i.e., if a certain Radiohead album was #1 on both lists it would receive 10,000 points, if a certain Pink Floyd album was #2 on both lists it would get 9,998, etc. I used the top 5000 from both BEA and RYM (the overall RYM list, which includes live and "archival" albums but not compilations), as of October 13. In this brief interim between the unveiling of our own all-time albums poll and the long-awaited Acclaimed Music site update, I thought I'd post an update, for comparison's sake, of another list I posted two years ago - an all-time albums list combining the rankings from Rate Your Music ( ) and Best Ever Albums ( ).
